About 15 years ago and after a collaboration on a local TV, I noticed that the whole team ate the sandwiches we have brought, except one. Surprised I went to him and asked whether he liked sandwiches. He replied that they looked good, but that he could not eat them because he was CELIAC.

At that time this word was new to me, I asked him and he told me about the celiac problem, which in those days was quite harsh. When I left the set I thought it might not be so complicated to be able to serve gluten-free sandwiches and we started looking for ways to be able to offer the product to the celiac community.

It wasn’t easy for a long time, because apart from the technical problems, at that time gluten-free products were scarce and expensive, but in the end we laid the first stone, and with messages of gratitude that we received like a fourteen-year-old girl “thank you for making me feel like the rest of my family” the project went ahead.

Today we can offer 90% of the products on the menu with gluten-free bread, prepared in an individualized sector and offering the guarantee of non-cross-contamination that guarantee these 15 years of work.

We also delivered perfectly signposted sandwiches with a “Gluten Free” label to avoid mistakes. 

Our sauces like potatoes are gluten free and we periodically do control tests to verify our products.
